The Zero Exposure Project offers speakers to address your group on a variety of topics. The Zero Exposure Project (ZEP) has been reaching young adults and teens in Hillsborough County. ZEP recently participated in Hillsborough County’s Great American Teach-In and other classes in Hillsborough and Middleton High Schools. Jessica Reynolds, Community Outreach Manager, talked about the impact of alcohol, tobacco, and drug use during pregnancy. She also spoke about important prevention issues related to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Shaken Baby Syndrome and how to maintain health before and during pregnancy. She showed students a poignant video about alcohol use. Students were engaged, with many sharing personal stories of loved ones who have experienced difficult times because of a premature or unhealthy baby. |
